My passion for education:

Over the past decade, I’ve worked hundreds of editorial shoots, weddings, backstage at NYFW, held photography retreats, and created paid content for household brands. Each experience greatly improving my arsenal of knowledge and inspiring me to give back all that I've learned.
Through the years of styling, teaching on stage at hair shows - or in salons, speaking at panels, shooting editorials, and being mentored by some of the best myself - I have discovered how to plan, execute, and create imagery for my portfolio that focuses on story telling, and has helped me land my dream clients. And now I am offering this knowledge to YOU!

Even though my business centers around the beauty industry, the Power of Photography has changed my brand forever. In the past I use to rely on workshops, test shoots, and random collabs to get professional images for my portfolio. The only problem, no two photographers edit the same, so my portfolio lacked consistency within the imagery. Then there is the issue of some collaborative shoots feeling less like fun care free creating, and more like unpaid work. Instead of getting to pitch your ideas, or create portfolio images depicting work we want to get paid to do - you’re given a mood board, and asked to bring another persons vision to life.
Learning how to plan, style, and shoot my own images changed ALL of that. My portfolio looks, and feels consistent, and I get to create work that feels true to me, and who I want to have sit in my chair.

These are custom mentorships that puts you in the drivers seat, and gives you the tools to elevate your brand.
These mentorships are based on collaboration - I want our time together to honest, safe, open, and help you get as much out of the experience as possible. Its a time to get all of your most burning questions answered, and build a portfolio that elevates your work to the “next level.”
During our time together you’ll learn skills dependent on your goals. I’m going to teach you everything from Creative Direction, Posing, Wardrobe Styling tips, Story telling, and my entire creative process for executing AND planning successful editorials. You’ll also learn technical skills such as composition, shooting in natural light vs continuous light, vs flash, my camera settings, where I develop film, how to find your unique style, how to batch content, plan, and eliminate stress around your social media, tips for getting published, and more. The end of our time together is encapsuled with an epic editorial campaign designed for you/by you to give you TONS of images for your portfolio you can use across all social media platforms.
A “Professional” film camera is not necessary. Depending on YOUR goals we can still cover a ton of material, and create images with the tools you already own. If that is only an iPhone, and a ring light - don’t stress. So much of what I teach has nothing to do with gear, an everything to do with giving you know how, and a plan on how to start. I have a complete list of cameras that take amazing images for under $100.00, its more about your artistry, and eye than anything else! I promise its not as intimidating as it may seem.
What we cover is up to you. We only learn what you need to, and nothing you don’t. Through this process I educate you every step of the way, so when our time is over - you’ll have tools to use over, and over, and will help your business continue to grow year after year.
